You drive by car (route length 14.7 km) from our Hotel Bellevue Hohfluh Hasliberg over the Brünig Pass, Meiringen to the Aare Gorge West. There is a large area for parking there. This parking lot is filled to the last place, especially on public holidays, despite its large size. This shows the great tourist value of the Aare Gorge.

You walk through the hall and a ticket office. What you have to decide beforehand is whether you want to go back with the KWO (Kraftwerke Oberhasli) factory railway or go back the same hiking trail. The way back is also very attractive, as you can see the Aare Gorge from a different perspective. The length of the hike is simply 1.6 km.
