This is an easy hiking trail through the mountain village of Hohfluh, Hasliberg, Bernese Oberland. Distance 1.6 km. The path goes on partly very narrow asphalt roads and is quite steep and arduous for normal tourists, as is usual everywhere in Switzerland. But the way is very worthwhile. In particular, there are always benches and water points with drinkable water from the mountain above the pasture areas. This is a pleasure for us tourists, who mostly only drink chlorinated water. The water tastes like still water from the supermarket, for my taste even quite better!

The mountain village of Hohfluh shows itself from the best side. Most of the houses are built according to the Bernese tradition. They consist of a stone cellar and the wooden upper floors of the actual apartments. By the way, there is the Hasliberger Dorfweg from Hohfluh to Reuti with farmhouses that are well worth seeing. These are mostly multi-generation houses built for the whole farming family.

Alpine cheese and mountain cheese are offered everywhere. It is advisable to order these in advance and have them stored in Bellevue. The cheese is then shrink-wrapped in plastic and stays fresh. Mutschler, a one-year-old cheese, is famous for the area, and two- or three-year-old cheeses are still available.
