It is best to drive to Ballenberg-West, as the parking lot is a little bigger there and the starting point for the carriage rides begins there. A detailed flyer for the entire area can be found at the ticket shop. First we let ourselves be driven from Ballenberg-West to Ballenberg-East and then we hike back on different paths. The farmhouses are arranged according to the cantons of Switzerland and contain a variety of handicraft exhibitions.

The entrance fees are bearable, the carriage ride has to be paid for separately.

From our Hotel Bellevue Hohfluh Hasliberg you drive 14.8 km over the Brünig Pass to the beginning of Brienz and then turn right to Ballenberg-West.

The specified hiking tour on my map without a carriage ride is 4.9 km. But then you also got very tired from all these impressions.
